1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Expired Auctions ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Expired Auctions is a free expired domain auction aggregator. We curate and display domain auction listings sourced from third-party platforms including GoDaddy, Namecheap, Dynadot, and GNAME. We also publish educational content for domain investors, operate a public RSS feed of listings, and offer paid advertising placements.

3. We Are Not a Domain Registrar

Important: Expired Auctions does not sell, register, transfer, or auction domain names. We are an independent aggregator with no affiliation with GoDaddy, Namecheap, Dynadot, or GNAME. All domain transactions occur directly on those platforms and are governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for any transaction, dispute, or outcome on those platforms.

4. Accuracy of Information

Domain auction data (prices, bids, availability, expiration times) is sourced from third-party feeds and may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate by the time you view it. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or timeliness of any listing. Always verify current information directly on the source auction platform before making any purchasing decision.

5. AI-Generated Content

Some domain listings include AI-generated descriptive text. These descriptions are produced automatically and are provided for informational purposes only. They may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. AI-generated descriptions do not constitute appraisals, endorsements, or investment advice. We disclaim all liability for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

6. Domain Rating System

Domain ratings (0–100) are produced by a proprietary algorithm and reflect an automated assessment of domain quality based on various signals. Ratings are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice, investment recommendations, or professional appraisals. Domain values are subjective and depend on many factors beyond our scoring criteria. We make no guarantee that a highly rated domain will sell for any particular price or generate any return.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to harvest data from the Service without prior written permission
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its servers
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
Reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content (ratings, descriptions, editorial content) without permission
Circumvent any security or access-control measures

We reserve the right to block access for any user or automated agent that violates these terms or places unreasonable load on our systems.

8. Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails containing curated domain auction listings and related content. Subscription requires double opt-in confirmation. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by contacting us directly. We will not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. Our newsletter complies with the CAN-SPAM Act; each email identifies the sender and includes a valid physical or electronic address and a clear opt-out mechanism.

9. Advertising Terms

Expired Auctions offers paid advertising placements (banner ads, text ads, inline grid ads, alert bar ads, and sidebar ads) to eligible advertisers. By purchasing an ad campaign, you agree to the following:

9.1 Payment

All advertising payments are processed securely via Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize the charge for the selected campaign package. Prices are listed in USD. We do not store your card details; all payment data is handled by Stripe in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

9.2 Approval & Review

All ad creatives are subject to review and approval before going live. We reserve the right to reject or remove any ad that violates our content standards, is misleading, or is otherwise inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

9.3 Prohibited Ad Content

Ads may not promote:

Illegal products, services, or activities
Malware, phishing, or deceptive content
Adult content, gambling, or weapons
Misleading claims or false representations
Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights

9.4 Refund Policy

Campaigns that have not yet gone live may be eligible for a refund upon request. No refunds are issued once a campaign has gone live and impressions have begun serving. If a campaign is rejected before going live, a full refund will be issued.

9.5 Advertiser Account

Advertiser accounts are managed via a token-based dashboard. A management token is sent to your registered email address. You are responsible for keeping this token secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from a compromised token.

9.6 Performance Disclaimer

We do not guarantee any specific number of impressions, clicks, or conversions beyond the impression counts included in your purchased package. Actual delivery may vary based on site traffic.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its design, layout, rating algorithm, editorial content, domain investor guides, and software — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Domain auction data is sourced from publicly available third-party feeds. Domain names displayed on the Service are the property of their respective registrants or auction platforms. Nothing in these Terms grants you any license to our intellectual property.

11. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM: (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY DOMAIN PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION MADE THROUGH A LINKED PLATFORM; (C) ERRORS OR INACCURACIES IN LISTING DATA; OR (D) RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR DOMAIN RATINGS.

12. Third-Party Links and Redirects

The Service contains outbound links and short-URL redirects (/go/{slug}) to third-party auction platforms and other external websites. These redirects may record that a click occurred (see our Privacy Policy). We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Your use of external sites is at your own risk.

13. RSS Feed

We provide a public RSS feed of domain listings for personal, non-commercial use. Automated bulk consumption of the RSS feed for commercial redistribution, resale, or competitive data harvesting is prohibited without prior written permission. Feed data is subject to the same accuracy disclaimers as the main Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
