1. What Are Affiliate Links?

Some outbound links on Expired Auctions are affiliate links. This means that when you click a link to an auction platform and subsequently make a purchase or register an account, we may receive a small commission or referral credit from that platform — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay for any domain is exactly the same whether you arrive via our link or navigate directly to the platform.

2. Which Platforms May Have Affiliate Relationships?

We currently use or may use affiliate tracking codes on outbound links to the following domain auction platforms:

GoDaddy Auctions — godaddy.com
Namecheap Marketplace — namecheap.com
Dynadot Auctions — dynadot.com

Not all links to these platforms are affiliate links. Affiliate tracking is enabled on a per-source basis and may not be active for every link at all times.

3. How Affiliate Tracking Works

When you click a domain listing on Expired Auctions, you are first routed through our short-URL redirect system (/go/{slug}). If affiliate tracking is enabled for that listing's source platform, a tracking query parameter (e.g., ?rsc=expiredauctions) is appended to the destination URL before you are redirected. This parameter identifies Expired Auctions as the referring site to the auction platform.

4. Editorial Independence

Our editorial content is never influenced by affiliate relationships. Domain listings are aggregated automatically from third-party auction feeds. Domain ratings are produced by our proprietary algorithm based on objective quality signals. No platform pays us to feature, rank, or promote specific domains or listings.

We display domains from GoDaddy, Namecheap, and Dynadot because they are the largest and most widely used expired domain auction platforms — not because of any commercial arrangement. Our goal is to surface the best available domains for domain investors, regardless of which platform hosts the auction.

5. Direct Advertising

In addition to affiliate links, Expired Auctions also sells direct display advertising (banner ads, text ads, inline grid ads, alert bar ads, and sidebar ads) to third-party advertisers. Paid advertisements are clearly distinguishable from organic domain listings. Advertiser content does not influence our domain ratings, editorial content, or listing selection.
